SeaPerch San Diego Teacher Training Registration
 

SeaPerch San Diego, SPSD, is pleased to announce a teacher training for Sea Perch construction with students taking place on Saturday Oct 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at King Chavez Primary Academy (415 31st St. San Diego, CA 91202).

 

SeaPerch is a STEM activity involving teams of 3 students per team who build, test and ultimately participate in the Obstacle course and Underwater Mission challenge testing their submersible and their piloting skills.

Cost; $75 for the first 7 adult advisors to register receive a kit from SPSD

Purchase the kit independently and the training is FREE

Total of 20 participants will be accepted.

 

Interested Title One school and Non-Profit organizations may be eligible for a SeaPerch kit at no cost. Supply is limited. Please contact Dave Massey, masseyd092@gmail.com , for more information.

 

Tools will be provided for the workshop, but participants will need to arrange for tools for their student build.
